Im Jahr 2027 jährt sich der Geburtstag von Carl Friedrich Gauß , einem Wissenschaftler mit außerordentlich vielen Interessen und Kompetenzen, zum 250. Mal.
Zu diesem Anlass entsteht in Göttingen ein vielfältiges Programm mit Ausstellungen, Audiotouren, Konzerten und weiteren Veranstaltungen. Das Museum “Forum Wissen” beteiligt sich mit einer Ausstellung. Dabei möchte man der Frage nachgehen, wie sich das studentische Leben seit Gauß’ Studienzeit verändert hat.
Dafür führt das Forum-Wissen-Team bis zum 31.10.2026 eine anonyme Umfrage unter Studierenden durch - mit Fragen zu Studienalltag, Finanzierung, Lebenshaltungskosten und Freizeit. Die Ergebnisse fließen in eine Ausstellungsstation im Forum Wissen ein.

In 2027, the birthday of Carl Friedrich Gauss, a scientist with an extraordinary number of interests and skills, will be celebrated for the 250th time.
On this occasion, a diverse program of exhibitions, audio tours, concerts, and other events will take place in Göttingen. The museum “Forum Wissen” is participating with an exhibition. They want to explore the question of how student life has changed since Gauss’ time as a student.
For this purpose, the Forum Wissen team is conducting an anonymous survey among students until 31.10.2026 – with questions about daily student life, financing, living costs, and free time. The results will be incorporated into an exhibition station at Forum Wissen.
