- Um das AutoLoad-Verfahren nutzen zu können, musst du dich auf dem Mensaportal einmalig dafür registrieren. Nach der Registrierung bietet dir das Kassensystem, bzw. die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter an den Kassen, bei Unterschreitung eines von dir gewählten Mindestbetrags das sofortige Aufwerten per Lastschrift an. Dein SEPA-Lastschriftmandat kannst du auf dem selben Portal jederzeit widerrufen.
- bei Verlust deiner Chipkarte kannst du die Karte eigenständig sperren
- Das Mensaportal hat im Juli 2025 ein neues, benutzerfreundliches Design und neue Funktionen erhalten. Es zeigt dir eine grafische Auswertungen deiner Zahlungen, deine Bezahlhistorie und deine besuchten Standorte. Das Mensaportal kannst du nutzen, auch ohne AutoLoad aktiviert zu haben.
- Auch Bedienstete der Universität und des Studierendenwerkes haben nun Zugang zum Mensaportal, über die Academic Cloud der GWDG.

- In order to use the AutoLoad procedure, you must register for it once on the Mensaportal. After registration, the cash register system, or the staff at the cash registers, will offer you the option to immediately top up via direct debit if your chosen minimum amount is not reached. You can revoke your SEPA direct debit mandate at any time on the same portal.
- In case of loss of your chip card, you can block the card independently
- The Mensaportal has got a new, user-friendly design and new features in July 2025. It shows you graphical evaluations of your payments, your payment history, and the locations you have visited. You can use the Mensaportal even without having AutoLoad activated.
- University and student services staff now also have access to the Mensaportal via Academic Cloud of GWDG.
