Am 5. Mai 2025 eröffnete das Studierendenwerk auf dem Nordcampus die CampusGastronomie im Norden, kurz CGiN.
Die Sanierung und Erweiterung der ehemaligen Nordmensa ist damit abgeschlossen.
In dem dreistöckigen, barrierefreien und lichtdurchfluteten Bau befinden sich auf 5.500 Quadratmetern und zwei Etagen mehr als eintausend Sitzplätze und insgesamt vier Pavillons, an denen euer Essen ausgegeben und direkt bezahlt wird.
Im ersten Stock findet ihr die 3 Ausgabepavillons Basic, Green (veganes und vegetarisches Angebot) und Tasty.
Im Erdgeschoss findet ihr den Café-Pavillon Daily, an dem es ab 11:15 Uhr auch warme Speisen gibt.
Unterschiedlich gestaltete Sitzbereiche sorgen im CGiN dafür, dass die Atmosphäre des klassischen Speisesaals der Vergangenheit angehört.
Ein zusätzliches Highlight im CGiN ist die südlich ausgerichtete große Terrasse mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten, sonnig oder schattig.

On May 5, 2025, the Studierendenwerk opened the CampusGastronomie im Norden, CGiN for short, on the North Campus.
This completes the renovation and expansion of the north canteen.
In the three-storey, barrier-free and light-flooded building, there are more than one thousand seats on 5,500 square metres of usable space and two floors and a total of four pavilions where food is served and paid for directly.
On the first floor you will find the distribution pavilions Basic, Green (vegan and vegetarian offer) and Tasty.
On the ground floor you will find the Café Daily, a distribution pavilion, where hot food is also available from 11:15 am.
Differently designed seating areas ensure that the atmosphere of the classic dining room at CGiN is a thing of the past.
An additional highlight is the south-facing terrace with a lot of seatings, sunny or shady.
