Salsa & Bachata

The origins of Salsa (in English "sauce") lie in many different Latin America (traditional) rhythms, which over time were mixed with Jazz music and developed into today's salsa. Salsa is not only joy and relaxation, but also enthusiasm and seduction. This dance reflects the happy, passionate and communicative character of Latin American people, which takes us to another culture and inspires our everyday life.
Bachata is a style of music that originates from the Dominican Republic and whose dance is becoming increasingly popular in Europe. The basic step is easy to learn, so anyone can dance Bachata. It is usually danced very closely and with emphasis on the hips. In Europe, however, a variation is danced that relies on a little more physical distance, but also on the inclusion of figures.
As dancing is a universal language, the Salsa courses also give all students the opportunity for cultural exchange with foreign fellow students (our salsa courses are held in German, English and Spanish).
If you want to switch off and forget your academic commitments for 90 minutes once a week, and recharge your batteries in a pleasant atmosphere with a Latin American flair, you can't miss this course! :)

La salsa no es sólo alegría y relajación, sino también entusiasmo y seducción. Este baile refleja el carácter alegre, apasionado y comunicativo de los latinoamericanos, que nos traslada a otra cultura e inspira nuestra vida cotidiana.
La bachata es un estilo de música originario de la República Dominicana, cuyo baile cada vez es más popular en Europa. El paso básico es fácil de aprender, por lo que cualquiera puede bailar Bachata. Se suele bailar muy apretado y con énfasis en las caderas. En Europa, sin embargo, se baila una variante que se apoya en un poco más de distancia física, pero también en la integración de figuras.
Si quieres desconectar y olvidarte de tus responsabilidades académicas durante 90 minutos una vez a la semana y recargar energías en un ambiente amigable con sabor latinoamericano, ¡No te puedes perder este curso! :)

She manages to create a truly Latin American atmosphere where learning is fun and enjoyable. With her many years of experience teaching salsa, bachata, and other folkloric dances, she not only conveys technique but also the passion and energy that characterize these dances. Her classes are always motivating and inspiring!
