Want to use your semester break to learn something new? Göttingen has a vibrant salsa and bachata scene—the perfect opportunity to learn to dance, have fun, and meet new people!

In our workshops, we’ll dive into the world of Salsa Cubana and Bachata together. We offer a relaxed atmosphere where you’ll learn everything from the basics to more challenging elements—everything you need to shine on the dance floor.

What to expect:

• Solid Foundations: We start with the basics and place great emphasis on sound technique.
• Diverse Repertoire: You’ll learn about eight to ten dance figures that will let you feel confident and have fun on any dance floor.
• Community: Dancing brings people together! Meet nice people from the university and all over Göttingen.

Take advantage of the university break for a quick weekend introduction. Over two 180-minute sessions, we’ll take your dancing to the next level.

It is recommendable to bring a dance partner, but it is also possible to find someone in the beginning of the workshop. Individual application is therefore also possible.

Please bring light and comfortable dance shoes, preferably with leather soles.

¿Quieres aprovechar tus vacaciones semestrales para aprender algo nuevo? En Göttingen hay un animado ambiente de salsa y bachata: ¡la oportunidad perfecta para aprender a bailar, divertirte y conocer gente nueva!

En nuestros talleres nos sumergimos juntos en el mundo de la salsa cubana y la bachata. Te ofrecemos un ambiente relajado en el que aprenderás, desde los fundamentos hasta los elementos más avanzados, todo lo que necesitas para brillar en la pista de baile.

Esto es lo que te espera:

• Fundamentos sólidos: Empezamos por lo básico y damos mucha importancia a una técnica sólida.
• Repertorio variado: Aprenderás entre ocho y diez figuras variadas con las que podrás moverte con seguridad y divertirte en cualquier pista de baile.
• Comunidad: ¡El baile une! Conoce a gente simpática de la universidad y de toda Göttingen.

Aprovecha las vacaciones del semestre para iniciarte en el baile de forma intensiva durante el fin de semana. En dos sesiones de 180 minutos cada una, te llevaremos al siguiente nivel en el baile.

Es recomendable llevar un compañero de baile, pero es posible encontrar a alguien el primer día de curso. Si no puede asistir el primer día, contacte a la docente. Matrículas individuales son por lo tanto posibles.
