Free meals in the canteens for children up to 14 years old, accompanied by enrolled parents: Apply for our Mensakidscard!

Children up to 14 years old eat for free in the cafeterias of the Göttingen Student Union when accompanied by their parents (father and/or mother) who are enrolled at a university in Göttingen: 
In connection with a meal for parents (usually one main component and two side components) and upon presentation of a valid MensaKidsCard, young guests can choose a meal including a free water. The validity of the MensaKidsCard depends on the age of the child as well as the enrollment duration of the parents.

How do I apply for a MensaKidsCard? 

You can conveniently download and fill out the application form for the MensaKidsCard, including the consent form for the collection and processing of your data, here. 
Please submit the signed form at one of these locations: Infobox in the foyer of the central cafeteria, Infobox in the cafeteria CGiN, residence administration Albrecht-Thaer-Weg. 
Please make sure to bring a current enrollment certificate, a valid student ID, and a copy of the child’s birth certificate.

For the application of a follow-up card, it is sufficient to present the current enrollment certificate or the valid student ID.
