The canteen voucher allows you to load credit on to a chip card (e.g., student ID or staff ID). This means it isn’t used directly at the cash desk, but rather transferred to the chip card at the Infobox. After that, the credit can be used flexibly for food and drinks on campus—whether it’s an affordable meal, a snack between meals, or a quick brain food.

How to purchase the voucher

You can only purchase the voucher in person at the Infobox in the foyer of the Zentralmensa and on the ground floor of the CGiN Canteen. You can choose any amount up to €100. You can pay with a debit or credit card. If you’re unable to make a purchase in person, we’d be happy to find a custom solution. Just send us an email. How to redeem the voucher

You can also redeem the voucher directly on-site at the info desk in the foyer of the Zentralmensa and on the ground floor of the CGiN Canteen. Simply bring the voucher along with the chip card to which the credit should be loaded.
