What is BonusWerk?
BonusWerk is a digital bonus program of the Studierendenwerk Göttingen, in which AutoLoad users can collect points when purchasing selected products. The points collected can be redeemed for specified benefits as part of the respective current promotion.
Instead of traditional stamp cards, the points are collected automatically and digitally with each purchase. The specific conditions, such as participating products and facilities or required point totals, depend on the current promotion.
Participation Requirements:
Participation in BonusWerk is possible under the following conditions:
- Payment with a valid chip card (student/staff ID or guest card) and
- activated AutoLoad function at the time of payment
With the AutoLoad function activated, participation in BonusWerk occurs automatically, provided the other participation requirements are met. Subsequent consideration of purchases without fulfilled requirements is excluded.
Collect points:
A bonus point is credited for each promotional product purchased.
Check point balance:
The current point balance can be viewed at any time in the cafeteria portal. The bonus points are credited immediately after the purchase. For purchases at vending machines, the display may be delayed by one to two days.
Receive and redeem bonus:
After reaching the required number of points, the available bonus is symbolically displayed as a gift in the cafeteria portal. The bonus can be redeemed for a free promotional product.
Instructions for redemption:
• Redemption is only possible at staffed checkouts
• Redemption at self-service checkouts or machines is excluded
• Cash payouts are not possible
• Bonus points are non-transferable and cannot be converted into credit
Collecting multiple rewards:
It is possible to collect multiple bonus claims without redeeming them immediately. The staff will indicate during the payment process if a bonus is available. Redemption can be done at a later time upon request.
Deposit policy
A deposit may be charged when issuing a bonus for a free promotional product. The deposit must be paid regardless of the bonus.
Current promotion at launch:
To kick off, the bonus program starts with hot beverages: when purchasing seven hot beverages, an eighth hot beverage is available for free. One point is credited for each purchased hot beverage. After reaching the required number of points, the bonus is automatically displayed in the canteen portal and can be redeemed.
Promotion start and duration:
The promotion starts on April 20, 2026.
No fixed end date is currently planned. If the promotion is ended, timely information will be provided. The Student Services Organization reserves the right to adjust, expand, or end promotions within the framework of BonusWerk at any time.
